Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
Wallet Cards (“the app”) is built with privacy first. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. In short: no accounts, no ads, no trackers. To sign an Apple Wallet pass, the code's content is sent to our signing service, which processes it and does not store it.
We don't collect personal data for our own purposes
The app needs no account or sign-in. We don't collect your name, email, location or advertising identifiers. There is no third-party analytics or tracking SDK, and we don't use your data to profile you or for advertising.
What happens on your device
Barcode reading (with Apple's Vision) and parsing of the emails or PDFs you share happen on your iPhone. The app extracts the code and the relevant fields (for example a shipment reference, a pickup point or a deadline) locally.
What is sent to the signing service
Apple Wallet only accepts passes signed with a certificate, and that certificate can't ship inside the app. So, to create each pass, the app sends over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to our signing service:
- the barcode's value and type;
- the code image (when applicable), which is embedded in the pass;
- the fields that will appear on the pass, extracted from the document you share (which may include details such as an order reference, a name or a delivery-point address);
- the pass identifiers (organization name, Pass Type ID and Team ID).
The service uses this data only to build and sign the pass file (.pkpass) and return it to you. It is not stored: the service is stateless (it processes the request and discards it), does not persistently log it, does not link it to your identity, and does not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Infrastructure (processor)
The signing service runs on Cloudflare Workers, which acts as the infrastructure provider that processes the signing request. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The pass in Apple Wallet
Once you add the pass, it is managed by Apple Wallet within your Apple account. See Apple's privacy policy.
Retention
The signing service keeps no request data after returning the pass. The resulting pass lives on your device and in your Apple Wallet, under your control.
Children
The app does not collect data to profile any user, including minors.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll post the updated version on this page with a new date.
